Pittsburgh children can win tickets to Penguins games by entering an essay contest, and the winners will be escorted by Mayor Luke Ravenstahl.

Two winners each will be picked for Games 3 and 4, Tuesday and Thursday at the Mellon Arena.

City of Pittsburgh residents ages 10 to 14 are eligible to write on the theme, "Why I'm proud to be from Pittsburgh."

In honor of Sidney Crosby's number, essays must be 87 words or less.

All entries must include name, phone number, address and birth date. Entries may be submitted online at www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us , faxed to 412-255-2687, or dropped off at the Mayor's Office, City-County Building, Fifth floor, 414 Grant St., Downtown. Deadline is 5 p.m. Monday. The four winners will be notified by telephone between 7 and 8 p.m. Monday.

The tickets, behind one of the goals, are provided by the Sports and Exhibition Authority.
