A Mercer County man is facing charges of drunken driving after he crashed his vehicle into a home Saturday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A news release from the Mercer barracks of the state police said James Joseph Ford III, 33, of Mercer, was arrested for drunken driving and charges will be filed when lab work is completed.
Police said Mr. Ford was westbound on District Road in Delaware Township when he careened through an intersection with Route 58. His pickup truck hit a parked trailer then a house on Mercer Road. Police described the damage to the house as extensive. Mr. Ford and a passenger were taken to UPMC Greenville for treatment. There was no description of the extent of either person's injuries.
