Harrison house fire brought under control

Firefighters were battling a blaze that started late this morning at a residence in Harrison.

An Allegheny County dispatch supervisor said the fire in the 1300 block of Freeport Road was reported at 11:42 a.m. and was under control by 12:20 p.m.

Everyone inside the home was able to escape, the supervisor said. Traffic was restricted in the area.
