A 21-year-old man was seriously injured when he lost control of his speeding vehicle on Spruce Hollow Road in Bethel, Armstrong County.
State police at Kittanning said the man was eastbound "at an unsafe speed" when it went off the road and struck two trees. The driver was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian. The accident happened at about 4 a.m. today.
Police said they expect to file drunken driving charges against the operator of the vehicle.
