UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin was injured after being punched by wide receiver Curtis Drake earlier today following practice.

McGloin's dad, Paul, said his son suffered a seizure and has a possible concussion but is back at his apartment now after being taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center.

University police said they are investigating the incident and expect to release a report later tonight.

The team reported for an emergency meeting at 4:30 p.m. Drake did attend, but McGloin did not.

"Everything is going to be OK," offensive tackle and co-captain Quinn Barham said.

No. 24 Penn State (9-3) plays Houston in the Jan. 2 TicketCity Bowl in Dallas.
