The body of a missing 32-year-old Wilkins woman was discovered this morning in a wooded area across from her home and the man suspected in her homicide was later found in Wilkinsburg with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office identified the woman as Delicious Jones. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

Allegheny County police Lt. Andrew Schurman said in a news release that the investigation by homicide detectives determined that William Arrington, 36, “was most likely responsible for the death of the victim.”

Mr. Arrington was found wounded at the residence of a family member, Lt. Schurman reported. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Wilkins police were summoned to Ms. Jones home on McMasters Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. today for a report that she was missing. They initiated an investigation which led to the discovery of her body and the search for Mr. Arrington..

The relationship between Ms. Jones and Mr. Arrington was unclear but KDKA-TV earlier reported that county homicide detectives were searching for her boyfriend.
