Service on the Port Authority’s Blue Line was restored about 11:30 a.m., after an accident between a pickup truck and a T car knocked out an overhead power line.

Buses were shuttling Port Authority light rail riders between 10 stations in Bethel Park and Library throughout the morning. The accident at 12:20 a.m. injured two people in the pickup truck, which tried to made it over the crossing as the outbound T car approached, said Port Authority spokesman Jim Ritchie. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. No one on the Blue Line-Library T car was injured.

As a result of the accident, the line’s overhead power was knocked out, Mr. Ritchie said.
