The pool at North Park will close at 4 p.m. today, due to construction of a new waterline along Ingomar Road, the Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced in a news release.

Service should be restored by 7 a.m. Wednesday, and if the weather is good, the pool will reopen at 11:30 a.m.

The construction will mean water will be shut off to several facilities at the park for about two months. People who have rented the facilities during the specific time frame have been notified. No other rentals will be made while the waterline is being replaced, the county said.
