An inbound lane on Route 28 will be closed this weekend to allow crews to work on an adjacent hillside, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

Weather permitting, the right inbound lane will close at 8 p.m. Friday and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday between the William Raymond Prom Memorial Bridge (formerly 31st Street) and the East Ohio Street exit. The ramp to East Ohio will be closed and traffic will be detoured.

The outbound lane will remain open in the work zone.
