The transition team for Pittsburgh Mayor-elect Bill Peduto announced today the schedule for Monday’s inauguration, an event that will include an outdoor ceremony and free ice skating.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on the steps of the City-County Building on Grant Street, Downtown. Seats will be available by ticket admission only, but space will be available for the general public.

At 2:30 p.m., Mr. Peduto will head to the Wintergarden at PPG Place on Stanwix Street, where he and his cabinet will be available to meet and take portraits with the public. That event will be complimented by free ice skating and hot chocolate through 5:30 p.m.

An evening Inaugural Celebration will start at 7 p.m. at the Heinz History Center and is by invitation only.
