Teen Forum Panelists

Christina Bunting, 16, of Coraopolis, is a junior at Cornell High School. She plays volleyball and softball and is a member of the band, Key Club, Prom Committee and honor society. She plans to become a lawyer or doctor.

Beth Collins, 17, of Uniontown, is a senior at Laurel Highlands Senior High School. She's a band field commander and Junior Achievement coordinator and participates in theater, madrigal choir and the National Honor Society. She's also a quiz team member and plans a career in journalism.

Kalena Current, 18, of Monaca, is a senior at Center Area High School. She's a member of the Spanish, Key and Varsity clubs and student council, yearbook staff and Young Women's Leadership. The cheerleader and cheerleading coach plans to earn a degree in Spanish education.

Priya Dhar, 17, of Monroeville, is a senior at The Ellis School. She's on the yearbook and newspaper staff and is part of the glee club, Model United Nations and a cappella club. She enjoys Indian classical dance and playing the piano, and she plans to become a doctor.

Shiv Dua, 15, of Fox Chapel, is a sophomore at Shady Side Academy. He plays soccer, squash, tennis and the drums and participates in Teens for a Free Tibet, Teen Leadership Council, Asian Club and Quiz Bowl. He's also treasurer of the national board of Teen Advocates for Missing Children, heads the tutoring department of his school's Community Service Council and plans a career in medicine or pharmaceutical business.

Michael Fabbrini, 14, of Carnegie, is a freshman at Carlynton Junior-Senior High School. He's part of the marching and concert bands and the chorus and swim team. He plans a career in arts and entertainment.

Ashley Garrett, 14, of Crafton, is a freshman at Carlynton. She plays basketball and enjoys shopping and giving advice. She plans to become a lawyer or actress.

Michael Girdano, 16, of Apollo, is a junior at Apollo-Ridge High School. He plays football and baseball and is part of the German and Ambassadors clubs and student council. He volunteers at a veteran's medical center and plans to attend West Point or the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Garrett Glausser, 16, of Peters, is a sophomore at Peters Township High School. He's active in Future Business Leaders of America, Ski Club and forensics and plans to become a venture capitalist or a professional golfer.

Jana Hutchinson, 16, of Murrysville, is a junior at Franklin Regional Senior High School. She's part of the National Forensics League, Franklin Regional Silks marching band and Early Morning Worship Team. She skis, pole vaults and plays lacrosse and counts neurology and architecture among her career goals.

Kate Pontiff, 16, of Dormont, is a junior at Keystone Oaks High School. She's involved in track, pep club and Bible study. Among her career goals are marketing, public relations and acting.

Sean Sumey, 17, of Uniontown, is a senior at Laurel Highlands. He's senior class president, football team captain, a coach for powder puff football and a student athletic trainer. He plans to become a funeral director and be active in politics.
