#BachIsBack: (And better than ever!) Well, everything's better with brews, right? The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh hosted a new fundraising event at the brewery for more than 85 guests who sipped the signature Bach Bock brew, enjoyed a quintet of choral singers who performed (naturally!) a bit of Bach and a number from the upcoming concerts of Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Guests noshed on delicious treats from the Pittsburgh Po’ Boy food truck and bid on items such as a dinner for six by master chef and Bach Choir’s artistic director Thomas Douglas. The event raised $10,000 for the organization, which is wrapping up its 82nd season next weekend. Known for presenting re-imaginings of great choral works, as well as premiering new works, the Bach Choir creates dramatic concert experiences. Get tickets: https://www.bachchoirpittsburgh.org/
