What, When, Where: GNC presents Pressley Ridge 20th annual Ice Cream Fundae Aug. 17 at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium, Highland Park.
Sundae Fundae: Family fun for the 2,700 guests who came out to support Pressley Ridge, which helps families through education, residential treatment, and foster care services, changing the world one child at a time. More than $120,000 was raised.
We All Scream For Ice Cream: An estimated 360 gallons of Hagan premium ice cream was enjoyed by all. A new event, No Ordinary Culinary, presented by Pittsburgh Community Kitchens, paired Pressley Ridge kids with local chefs (Bobby Fry from Bar Marco, Chet Garland from Toast! and Nola’s Leonard Pisano) before the event to learn basic cooking skills. Together, they created a new ice cream dessert and presented it during the VIP reception.
