A+ Schools' 10th Anniversary held at Consol

What, When and Where: The 10th anniversary celebration of A+ Schools, Pittsburgh's Community Alliance for Public Education on Thursday evening at Consol Energy Center's Lexus Club.

The Party: Nearly 350 guests went to the head of the class for supporting A+ Schools and they were thanked by executive director Carey Harris and new board chair Tracey Reed Armant. "Three thousand more students have art and music programs in their schools because of us," said Ms. Harris. Top grades went to the bountiful buffet, live music and a big bar, which kept supporters in prime party mode.

The People: Among those who deserve to be on the honor roll were founding members Michael Lamb and Susan Brownlee, Gregg Behr, Chelsa Wagner, Melanie Brown, Matt Dooley, Saleem Ghubril, Scott Hollander, Cate Reed and Doug Anderson.
