Renaissance & Baroque and The Pittsburgh Camerata celebrated a season of beautiful music by hosting a 1920s fundraising event, “Downton/Dahntahn Abbey” on April 13. Guests mingled upstairs where wine and savories were served, and then wandered downstairs/dahntahn to enjoy beer and snacks, Pittsburgh style. Musical entertainment was provided by members of the Pittsburgh Camerata and R&B musicians. Founded in 1974, The Pittsburgh Camerata specializes in the entire choral repertory with a unique focus on Renaissance/Baroque and 20th-century works.
