When: Friday.

Where: Wyndham Grand Downtown.

The Cause: Mel Blount Youth Home, celebrating 25 years, is an emergency shelter and group home for boys 7-17 years old in Claysville, Washington County. It was founded by NFL Hall of Famer and Steelers alum, Mel Blount.

Pay It Forward: "Mel Blount teaches me about respect, how to be a gentleman and how to teach others how to be a leader," said Deontay Cooper, a youth home resident.

Touching Moment: Traditionally, Mr. and Mrs. Blount unveil a mural reflective of the honoree (this year, Randy Grossman). When this year's mural was unveiled, to the Blounts' surprise, Mr. Grossman presented a mural featuring the two of them. The audience was moved by the gesture.

Seen: A sea of Steelers were among the 880 guests who helped raise money for the cause, including Robin Cole, Dan Radokovich, Paul Uram, Marv Kellum, Louis Lipps, Andy Russell, J.T. Thomas, Ron Johnson, Dwayne Woodruff, Joe Greene, Tunch Ilkin, Craig Bingham, Jeff Hartings, Mike Wagner and Donnie Shell.
