For some people, jumping into frigid water once to benefit Special Olympics isn’t enough. Fourteen Super Plungers who had each raised more than $3,500 splashed into an above-ground pool behind the Hard Rock Cafe in Station Square to the cheers of 250 people at the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge Friday Night Splash. On Saturday, hundreds more joined them for a freezing dip in the Ohio River. The Plunge raised more than $400,000.
