You’ve got to love the concept — Vegas on the Mon at LeMont, with its built-in Rat Pack vibe. LeMont owners Ed and Anna Dunlap graciously made it possible for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to hold its annual benefit there by underwriting a chunk of the costs for the 350 guests who attended Thursday. Greta and Art Rooney were the honorees, which brought out a crowd including board chair Rick Wiedman, Dana and Franco Harris, Heather and Randy Hillier, Jack and Ellen Kessler, Penny and Scott Holden, Barbara and Gary Bowser, Debbie and Mike Barbarita, Myrna and Mark Mason, Cindy and David Sunseri, Ina and Larry Gumberg and, everyone’s favorite, Jeanne Caliguiri. Jennifer Fusilli and Dianna Calaboyias Wyrick chaired the evening, which featured moving remarks from a great kid, 8-year-old Connor Vickers, who has been in remission from leukemia for almost two years.
