The City of Light was in the spotlight during Oakland Catholic High School's "Leading Ladies Gala: An Evening in Paris" Thursday at the Westin Convention Center. More than 550 guests gathered for the 10th annual benefit, which paid tribute to 18 women who represent the best in business, education, the arts and philanthropy.
The evening also celebrated the school's 25th anniversary with WTAE's Mike Clark and his wife, Terri, as honorary chairs and Brad and Colleen Totten acting as event chairs. The mime, the live and silent auction items and beret-topped students helping out were all tres magnifique.
Among those saying merci beaucoup were OCHS president Katherine Freyvogel and Leading Ladies Meredith McDonough, Sister Cecilia Murphy, Rona Nesbit, Susan Rauscher, Mia Boccella-Hartle, Maris Bondi, Mary Anne Hanna, Jean Ann Streiff, Bonnell Irvin, Mary Lee Gannon, Meg Cheever, Kathleen Sullivan, Sister Rosemary Donley, Kristin Wells, Charena Swann, Mary Ann Dunham, Christy Gross and Beth Marcello.mainevent
