"Sometimes the stork needs your help," which is why the 25 Club of Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC exists. Through its fundraising efforts for neo-natal care and research so much has been accomplished through the years. Friday, the 25 Club held an Al Fresco Luncheon at the Duquesne Club with perfect food (cheese souffle, lobster or chicken salad and a pecan ball!), a silent auction and informal modeling from Carabella. But the highlight was an astonishing presentation by Dr. Stephen Emory, director of Magees' Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Center, on twin-twin transfusion syndrome and the life-saving progress that has been made through laser surgery. Norma Sobel chaired the lunch with WTAE's Michelle Wright as emcee. On hand were Magee president Leslie Davis, 25 Club president Dani Grego and many members including Carol Massaro, Vi Gallo, Sue Zitelli, Barbara Norris, Kathe Patrinos, Jeanne Caliguiri, Marsetta Schweiger and Peggy Snavely.
