The Denis Theater Foundation has big dreams for the little theater in Mt. Lebanon. "The capital campaign's goal is to raise $4.5 million to build a cultural center," said executive director Valerie Golik. Nearly 250 guests rode the elevator to the 12th floor of the law offices of Reed Smith, where the terrace and marble foyer provided a unique new space to party Wednesday night during "Puttin' on the Ritz." Many came to pay tribute to Carolyn and Bill Byham, who were honored for their many contributions to Pittsburgh's cultural community. They received the first Denis Theater Foundation Tapestry Award. Nadine Bognar and Joseph and Lynn Smith hosted the event. Among those enjoying the live entertainment, buffet and auction were gala chair Mary Jo Meenen, Vivian and Bill Benter, Dr. Lauren and Ellen Roth, Carter Byham, Dana Harris, Jane and John Delano and David Koch.
