The view of sunsets from 114 Longvue Drive, White Oak (MLS No. 938152) are so beautiful that the real estate agent would book evening appointments just to show them off.

"We would walk along the sidewalk and everyone just loved it," says broker/agent Barb Sulava with Broker 1 Realty (724-863-0771 or www.broker1realty.com).

Homeowner Nikki Price agrees. She has lived in the three-bedroom, 21/2-bath townhome since it was built and is moving due to a growing family. She and her husband have now put the home on the market for $159,000.

Mrs. Sulava's husband owns Southwest Building Contractors and his company built the plan 13 years ago.

"We had a good mix of people come into the plan -- lots of ages and families," she said.

The end-unit home is one of 17 in the plan and has lots of multi-paned windows and two balconies -- one off the family room and the other off the master bedroom suite on the second floor.

"It has lots of natural light that flows from the front and the back and the open floor plan is great for entertaining," Mrs. Sulava said.

The 24- by 12-foot kitchen is off of the foyer. It features a bump-out with large windows, including a Palladian-style window.

The space feels bright and light thanks to crisp, white cabinetry, a light tan ceramic tile floor and a white appliance package that includes an overhead microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Light-colored laminate counters with a custom beveled edge add to the fresh look.

The kitchen opens to the 17- by 11-foot dining room via a breakfast bar with room for two barstools. The counter is wide and spacious. The dining room has a brass light fixture and a double-hung window. Both the dining room and the adjacent 20- by 11-foot living room have neutral carpet and white walls.

The living room features a corner gas-burning fireplace. Large sliding doors lead to the first deck and give a wide view of the park below. A large column provides definition between the rooms.

Upstairs, the master bedroom measures 14 by 15 feet. A wall of walk-in closets have display space overhead with lots of storage. Neutral carpet and white walls add to the bright feel.

The en suite bathroom has a double vanity with double sinks and a marble top, linen closet and a separate water closet. A bathtub/shower combination allows for flexibility and the luxurious feeling of the entire space is enhanced by the private balcony and a vaulted ceiling.

"During the summer it is really nice. You can see fireworks from all over up there," said Ms. Price.

The other two bedrooms measure 11 by 16 feet and 10 by 10 feet, respectively; one is painted powder blue and the other is white. They also have vaulted ceilings. Both of the bedrooms have large closets and lots of space and wall-to-wall carpeting.

A second full bathroom upstairs services the bedrooms. It is neutral in color choices as well. Another added bonus is the second-floor laundry room. It features a side-by-side washer and dryer, a closet-length storage shelf and space to hang clothes.

Downstairs, the basement has a bonus room. It is clean and dry, but not finished.

The homeowners used it for dry storage and as an exercise area.

Beyond that space, there is a one-car garage that is accessible from behind the home. "I had the option to make it a two-car tandem garage but felt the space was better used as a one-car with an extra room," said Ms. Price.

Blinds are on all of the windows and the home has central air conditioning and gas heating.

A monthly maintenance fee of $75 covers snow removal and grass cutting.

The homeowners own and are responsible for the rest of the property.

The property's 2013 assessed value is $114,800 (www2.county.allegheny.pa.us/RealEstate/Default.aspx). Over the past three years, only one property has sold on Longvue Drive for $35,000 in March 2010 (www.realstats.net).

Ms. Price enjoyed living in the neighborhood.

"It was a great location, close to two shopping centers and the main drag about five minutes away.

"It is such a wonderful neighborhood, right by Heritage Hill Park, the swimming pool and near the Carnegie Free Library [in McKeesport]. I lived in the end unit and my dad still lives four doors away in the other end unit."
