Getting ready for work in the morning is never easy. But when you're Santa Claus and work is finding out what children want for Christmas, well, that's a chore of a different color (but mainly red).
Before heading off to Ross Park Mall, Santa Ron takes 15 minutes to blow-dry his snow-white beard but saves major dressing and primping for later. When he's not at the North Pole he vacations -- where else? -- in the North Hills. It's not unusual for kids to stop by any time of year to say hello and give him a heads-up on their wish list.
By Nov. 8, he's on the job at the mall, with an ample lap and ready ear. By early December, he's really busy, listening and ho-ho-hoing from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. His sitting days are nearly over. On Monday, Christmas Eve, he'll spring into action, delivering gifts to children all over the world.lifestyle - holidays
