Are your dogwoods blooming? How are your tulips? It's time to show off your garden!

The Post-Gazette and Pittsburgh Botanic Garden are accepting entries for the Great Gardens Contest, spring edition. Now in its 11th year, the contest has three judging periods -- spring, summer and fall/year-round. The entry deadline for spring is May 20, and there are three size categories:

• Small -- gardens of 2,000 square feet or less

• Medium -- between 2,000 square feet and a quarter acre

• Large -- gardens larger than a quarter acre

Does your garden look better later in the season? Enter for summer by Aug. 5 or for fall-year-round by Sept. 16. In addition to seeing their gardens featured in the Post-Gazette, winners receive a one-year membership to the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and two tickets per winner to next year's Botanic Garden tour. Only online entries will be accepted.
