Mushroom classes: Morning classes, suitable for beginners, will focus on local mushrooms for cooking and medicinal purposes; afternoon intermediate-level classes will teach mushroom identification. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Cooper-Siegel Library, Fox Chapel. $20 for a full day; $10 for half day. A free mushroom walk at nearby Salamander Park will follow.

‘A Taste of Sustainability’ Tour: Food Guy Adventures introduces Pittsburgh’s first sustainability-focused food tour, a guided walking tour with samples from restaurants in the Cultural District and tours of the rooftop gardens at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and Six Penn Kitchen, Downtown. 2:30 p.m. one Saturday per month: June 17, July 15 or Aug. 12. $85; a portion will be donated to the Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant program.
