Longtime bar will make way for sister location of Turkish restaurant near the corner of Forbes and Braddock avenues.
The Pittsburgh Canning Exchange is holding a pickle-canning party in Greenfield from 1 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 2. For $12, participants can learn to make, and actually make, canned and refrigerator pickles with “pickling whiz” Danielle Marvit. And you get a slice of pie, too.
