More farmers markets are opening this week.
Opening today are:
• Jeannette Bridges to Prosperity Farm Market, in the Magee Avenue lot, that runs 3:30 to 7 p.m. Thursdays at least through September. facebook.com/jeannettefarmmarket.
• Wilkinsburg Farmers Market, behind the South Avenue Methodist Church at 733 South Ave., that runs 3 to 6 p.m. Thursdays to Nov. 20.
•Steubenville [Ohio] Farmers Market, at Fourth and South streets, that runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays through October.
Opening Friday: Whole Foods Co-op Farmers Market, at 1341 W. 26th St. in Erie, that runs 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays to Oct. 3.
Opening Saturday: Lower Burrell Farmers Market, in the City Hall lot at 2800 Bethel St., that runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays to Oct. 18.
Opening Monday: Coraopolis Farmers Market, at Broadway Street and Fifth Avenue, that runs 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through October.
Opening Tuesday: Ridgway [Elk County] Farmers Market, at Keystone Hardware at 14 Main St., that runs 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays to Oct. 14.
