Simple Sugars creator Lazzari is back with 'Sharks'

It's been more than a year since Lani Lazzari took the plunge and appeared on the ABC reality television show "Shark Tank."

She pitched her business Simple Sugars, a line of all-natural, handmade body and face scrubs, and secured a $100,000 investment from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

He now has a 33 percent stake in Simple Sugars, headquartered in Sharpsburg.

Miss Lazzari, 20, of Fox Chapel, will be featured tonight on the special "Shark Tank: Swimming With Sharks," which will air at 8 on ABC. The program will spotlight her success since the show and includes updates on a handful of other "Shark Tank" entrepreneurs.
