North Allegheny Foundation Hats Off to Spring fashion show: See trends for the season from retailers and Pittsburgh-based designers -- including Cache, Kiya Tomlin, Schee and Gina Mazzotta Millinery -- at a fashion show 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, McCandless. Guests will be treated to hors d'oeuvres, music and, for VIP guests, swag bags and reserved runway seating. There also will be a chance to bid on silent auction items, including a NHL jersey signed by Pascal Dupuis.
Tickets are $35 for general admission, $50 for VIP seats and $350 for a table for 10 at www.northallegheny.org/nafoundation. Proceeds will support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) initiatives at North Allegheny schools.
52nd annual Fair Lady Frolic fashion show: The yearly event held by the Italian Sons & Daughters of America will be Sunday at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh, Downtown. This year's show is titled "No Better Gift Than Hope" and will include a luncheon and fashion show with styles from Cache, JoS. A. Bank, H.Baskin Clothier, Janie and Jack, and Carabella, among others. The gathering will benefit special-needs guests on Italian Day at Kennywood on July 15. Salvatore Patitucci also will be honored for presenting Italian programming on the radio for 50 years.
A bake sale, vendors and a raffle will start at 11 a.m., with lunch being served at about 1 p.m. Tickets are $50 for runway seating or $40 for general access at 412-261-3550.
Champs Sports now open at The Mall at Robinson: The athletic specialty store has moved into a 4,995-square-foot space on the mall's upper level near Macy's and Philip Pelusi Salon.
