SAVOR THIS MEAL

Tickets are available for tonight's eighth Savor Pittsburgh at SouthSide Works. The $65 admission buys you tastes from 24 restaurants, cocktails and live music, and local chefs will compete for best dish in five categories. Buy tickets at the door (it starts at 6:30 p.m.) or at savorpgh.com. Proceeds benefit Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation in its fight against prematurity.

UKRAINIAN FEST

Continuing tonight through Saturday is the Ukrainian Festival at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church at 116 Ella St. in McKees Rocks (412-331-2362), where the food choices include halushky ($4), holupki (stuffed cabbage, $3), kielbasi and sauerkraut ($6), a lamb sandwich ($9) and pirohi, as the fest calls them ($1).
