President Barack Obama has done a very great job after all the chaos of 2007-2008, when the investment banks were in dire trouble. He also saved the automobile industry in the United States. General Motors and Chrysler Corp. had to get a loan, and he saw that the loans were granted and the loans were paid back in record time.
Yet Republicans in the House of Representatives fought him fiercely then and are continuing to do the same. Their leader, House Speaker John Boehner, seems to want to scuttle what President Obama wants. Why is Mr. Boehner so set on destroying everything in the Obamacare bill and in other legislation?
Commentators on television say the majority of people do not like Obamacare. I don't believe it's a majority. Most people do not know the positive and negative portions of the act. The Post-Gazette would help us all by printing the facts of the law.
Republicans, please cooperate with your Democratic colleagues and "play ball" for the good of all Americans.
