UPMC hubris

The most recent high-priced UPMC ads and commercials are becoming even more blatant in illustrating its actual goal to limit access to UPMC doctors and facilities unless everyone subscribes to UPMC health plans. UPMC's ongoing attempt to monopolize health care in the region is only the latest evidence that it can no longer be considered a nonprofit entity.

And by the way, UPMC should move out of those expensive offices in the U.S. Steel Building and take down those "in your face" signs at the top.
