We need laws that will reduce senseless killings

How many more people have to die before some sensible gun laws are enacted?

On Monday we had yet another mass shooting with 13 deaths.

Since the Newtown massacre last December, more than 9,000 people have died from gunshot wounds, yet we have been unable to pass a law that would allow for simple background checks.

It is easier to buy a gun and multiple rounds of ammunition than it is to get behind the wheel of a car. The law requires licensing, registration and insurance before one can drive a car. Isn't it just common sense to want gun laws that will help to reduce the number of senseless killings that are happening at the rate of more than 30 every single day?
