I, as many others, feel like a "voice in the wilderness" when it comes to speaking out on my concerns about the performance of the federal government. As Will Rogers once said, "Don't let yesterday use up too much of today." But that is exactly what our government is doing.
Not just yesterday, but last week, last month, last year and so on. Benghazi, the Internal Revenue Service, immigration reform, balancing the budget, the debt ceiling. Yesterday "is" using up too much of today. It is a "kick the can down the road," "don't do today what you can do tomorrow" type of mentality.
Somewhere out there is "the straw that broke the camel's back." We need a few true leaders to step up and prevent that from happening.
