That's nonprofit?

UPMC, a nonprofit organization, has hundreds of millions of dollars in profit (Sally Kalson's June 2 column "A Few Workers Here, A Few Workers There"). I'm just saying, that is wrong.

It's bad enough that UPMC does not pay its fair share of taxes because, once again, it's a nonprofit. UPMC closed poor-performing hospitals on the South Side and in Braddock, only to build new hospitals in Cranberry and Monroeville.

They cut costs by outsourcing 130 jobs of long-time employees. Why does a nonprofit need to cut costs, when they have such a huge profit?
