Bad abortion bill

I am outraged by the April 24 story "House Approves Abortion Limits." I'm tired of Republicans, pro-lifers, etc., interfering with my medical health and private life. As if the emotional and physical strain of having to have an abortion isn't bad enough, now they want to increase the fiscal hardship too?

I've had two miscarriages: one at 12 weeks and one at five months. Both required a D&C, which some consider to be an "abortion." Both times, I had to fight with my insurance company to pay my medical expenses. The first time, after having to rehash my experience multiple times, I gave up, too heartsick to continue, and paid several hundred of dollars out of pocket. The second time it was $5,000, so I fought for reimbursement no matter how personally painful it was; I couldn't afford not to.

I believe that under the new legislation, since it was only my "health," not my life, that was endangered, insurance companies would be able to deny me coverage. What a great bill!
