The U.S. Postal Service, losing nearly $16 billion in the last fiscal year, is not authorized to end Saturday delivery ("Mail Delivery on Saturdays Gets Reprieve," April 11). It seems like the Postal Service suffers from a version of the antiquated Pennsylvania state liquor control system ... neither one being brought into the 21st century by politicians.
Speaking of politicians, Pennsylvania can't privatize the state liquor control system but damn if it isn't one of the few states that allow pigeon shoots. You've got to love government.
