We must keep Amtrak train service from Pittsburgh and subsequent stops between here and Harrisburg. I and many other commuters use this train to commute to our jobs in the eastern part of the state. Airfare between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is too expensive in commuting so often between the two cities.
I pay my taxes to this state. I expect the state to allow me to get back and forth to work in an economical way so that I can keep paying my taxes to the state from my wages and income.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation subsidizes and spends on roads and other ways for those commuters to economically get back and forth to work. Why punish those of us who use the train to get back and forth to our jobs?
