Houston Harbaugh said Anna Marks joined as director of marketing and communications. Ms. Marks joins the firm from Federated Investors, where she was a member of the marketing and corporate communications department.
In her new role, she will oversee Houston Harbaugh's marketing, business development, advertising and communications activities.
She earned her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh's Katz School of Business, and her undergraduate degree from Pitt.
Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. has announced that Sally A. Frick is the firm's recipient of its David B. Fawcett Pro Bono Service Award. Ms. Frick, an associate, is recognized for giving her time to those in need -- a mission and tradition carried out by the award's namesake, David B. Fawcett.
Ms. Frick's honor included a donation from the firm, to a charity of her choosing; she chose Neighborhood Legal Services Association.
In 1966, Mr. Fawcett helped start Neighborhood Legal Services Association, which ensures legal services to the poor and vulnerable in our community. This is the third year for the award.
The Million Dollar Advocates Forum announced that attorney Henry H. Wallace was certified as a member of the multi-million dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in the forum is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements.
Mr. Wallace is a graduate of Cornell University School of Law. He represents plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits involving products liability, medical malpractice and other tort cases.
The Legal Intelligencer said John Gismondi, Gismondi & Associates, received its lifetime achievement award.
The award honors the figures who have helped to shape the law in Pennsylvania, whether through their work on the bench, assisting those in need of legal services, building a firm, or other means.
