Gene Jazwinski has joined Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, P.C as a principal. He will focus his practice in the area of mineral and oil and gas law with an emphasis on real estate. Mr. Jazwinski comes to Dickie McCamey from Steptoe & Johnson, and previously Tucker Arensberg. While at Tucker, Mr. Jazwinski helped shape the firm's mineral title opinion group. He received his J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law.

Birdsall Award at the PBA annual meeting in Pittsburgh, held May 9 and 10. The award honors a county bar executive who demonstrates professional excellence and significantly enhances the stature of his or her bar association.

Four ERISA attorneys from Thorp Reed & Armstrong LLP have joined Saul Ewing LLP's business and finance department as members of Saul Ewing's employee benefits and tax practices. The new attorneys are Sarah "Sally" Lockwood Church, Paul A. Kasicky, Kevin A. Wiggins and Joni Landy.
Ms. Church has more than 25 years of experience counseling clients on a wide spectrum of employee benefits matters, including executive compensation and ERISA. She also has experience with the employee benefit and executive compensation issues that arise in mergers and acquisitions. She received her degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
For more than 24 years, Mr. Kasicky has focused on ERISA and tax issues related to employee benefits and executive compensation. Previously, he practiced in a broader area of federal income tax. He earned his degree from University of Toledo School of Law.
Ms. Landy focuses her practice on health and welfare benefit matters. She counsels clients on complex employer health plan issues including employers with multiple health plan options and self-insured plans. She received her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law.
Mr. Wiggins has practiced in employee benefits, executive compensation, and ERISA litigation for more than 14 years. He received his law degree from Cornell Law School.legalnews
