The Washington County Bar Association honored Kenneth L. Baker, partner, Peacock Keller, with its Robert L. Ceisler Professionalism Award. The award recognizes attorneys who exemplify professionalism and who strive to encourage other attorneys, particularly those who are newer to the practice of law, to do the same.
In conjunction with the Professionalism Award -- named for Robert L. Ceisler, the Washington County defense lawyer who died in 2005 and who spent much of his career mentoring less experienced lawyers -- a donation will be made in Mr. Baker's name to the Washington County Law Library. A former attorney for the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Army, Mr. Baker's practice focuses on estate planning and administration, real property and corporate and business matters.

Joseph M. Witalec has joined Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC. Mr. Witalec is a member of the firm's bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice group, representing debtors, creditors and other parties of interest in corporate restructurings, Chapter 11 cases, distressed sales, commercial litigation, loan modifications and other insolvency-related matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Witalec practiced at the law firm of Jones Day. He received his law degree from Harvard Law School.
