Elisabeth R. Healey joined The Webb Law Firm as a patent agent. Ms. Healey has a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of South Florida and has industrial and academic experience in the design, synthesis and characterization of pharmaceutical compounds, organic intermediates, and other organic and inorganic compounds. Ms. Healey is co-author of more than 25 articles in established scientific journals and papers at regional, national and international conferences.
Frank G. Salpietro and Colleen Ramage Johnston have been certified as life members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States, while members of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case which has resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict, award, or settlement.
Ms. Ramage Johnston is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. Shanicka L. Kennedy, transportation associate, Burns White, was named as one of this year's 40 Under 40 by Pittsburgh Magazine and the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project for her commitment to shaping the Pittsburgh region.
For nearly 20 years, Ms. Kennedy, an advocate for the underprivileged, has worked in various roles that have allowed her to make a significant impact on the personal lives of youths and adults in the Pittsburgh region. All recipients will be featured in the November 2012 issue of Pittsburgh Magazine and recognized at an awards event on Nov. 2 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh, Downtown.
