Flames leap several stories into the night sky as a fire destroys the A.F. Schwerd Manufacturing Company on McClure Avenue in the Woods Run neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The blaze caused more than $2 million damage as it spread from the 135-year-old brick building and destroyed three nearby homes and three cars and damaged several other homes, Pittsburgh Fire Chief Michael Micheli said.
