Guard Allen Roberts, who led Miami of Ohio in scoring in 2012-13, will transfer to Penn State and be eligible for the upcoming season, the school announced Monday.

Roberts, who averaged 12.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, is immediately eligible because he is using the graduate transfer rule in which players who graduate with eligibility remaining can immediately play at another school.

He's the second transfer to go to Penn State this offseason. Center Jordan Dickerson is transferring to Penn State from SMU. He will have to sit out a year before being eligible at the start of the 2014 season.
