Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 209's 150 entries ( Click on second image above to see the cartoon) included many about the NFL and GOP, and the judges ended up making a two-time MVC (most valuable caption-writer) in 2013 out of one of our talented participants from the northern suburbs. Dave Hatfield deserves some competition before he wins a third time this year, however, so you foxes and hounds should get to your keyboards to come up with something worthwhile for CapCon 210.

Send up to three entries to or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: May 20. Winners receive a PG umbrella, which would make a great belated gift for your mother if you forgot to get her something today.
