Duquesne University men's basketball coach Jim Ferry announced the signing of three more players to national letters of intent Wednesday as well as the addition of a transfer.
Signing with the Dukes were 6-foot-2 guard Desmond Ridenour (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/M.A.C.K. Academy in Charlotte, N.C.), 6-8, 240-pound power forward Jordan Robinson (Toronto/Quality Education Academy) and 6-0 junior-college transfer guard Tra'Vaughn White (Kansas City, Kan./Independence Community College in Kansas).
The trio will join 6-8, 230-pound power forward Isaiah Watkins (Toronto/St. Benedict's, N.J., Prep), who signed with Duquesne in the fall, to form the 2013-14 recruiting class.
Ferry also announced that 6-2 shooting guard Micah Mason, from Highlands High School in Natrona Heights -- who played at Drake this past season -- has signed a financial-aid agreement and will be part of the program in the fall.
He will sit out the 2013-14 season due to NCAA transfer rules and have three years of eligibility at Duquesne.
"I'm extremely excited about this year's recruiting class," said Ferry.
"We were able to address a lot of needs as well as strengthen the weaknesses that were obvious last season.
"We were able to add quality ballhandling, scoring, shooting, size and versatility and we were able to do it with good people from great families who have received outstanding coaching. This group will help get us much closer to playing the way we want to play."
