Duquesne coach Jim Ferry added two players to the Dukes, receiving verbal commitments from junior college point guard Tra'Vaughn White and point guard Desmond Ridenour from Cleveland Benedictine High School and Mack Academy.

The two are expected to sign their letters of intent with the Dukes April 17, the first day of the spring signing period, and will join the team for the 2013-14 season.

White, who is from Kansas City and listed from 5 feet 8 to 5-10, originally signed with Sam Houston State in 2011 but played the past two seasons at Independence Community College in Kansas. This season, he led the junior college ranks in scoring at 26.1 points per game.

Ridenour originally committed to Dayton in 2012 but academic issues forced him to play at Mack Academy in North Carolina for a year. He also had scholarship offers from Akron, Kent and TCU, but Ferry was able to convince him to play for the Dukes.
