Cleveland's 12th annual home and garden show to start next Saturday

Hundreds of home and garden exhibits will be featured at the 12th annual National City Cleveland Home and Garden Show, which kicks off next Saturday at Cleveland's International Exposition Center.

The show will feature 20 acres of gardens in bloom and how-to seminars on everything from home improvement to the art of bonsai and Mexican-themed entertainment. Visitors also can walk through two model homes, including a professionally decorated barn-conversion home.

Thinking about buying a home? National City will have experts there to talk about financial planning, home equity loans and mortgages.

The show runs through Feb. 17 at the I-X Center, 6200 Riverside Drive, Route 237, near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Tickets cost $11.50 for adults and $3.75 for children ages 6-12. Children 5 and under get in free.

Show hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturdays; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Feb. 10; 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 17. Information: 800-600-0307 or http://www.homeandflower.com.
