A Jaw Dropping Performance
On March 8-15, Moon Area High School put on "Guys and Dolls." "Guys and Dolls." It was a real jaw dropping performance. Junior Forrest Salamida did a stupendous job as Sky Masterson with his Sinatra-like voice. With an orchestra mainly of students and only three professionals, a few words cannot describe how magnificently the music was played. Sergeant Sarah Brown had an angelic voice and really brought the emotion of her love for Sky Masterson to the audience. All of the dancers were just astonishing, especially in the crap game scene.
Lizzie Marince was astounding as Miss Adelaide; she sounded like Vivian Blaine's Miss Adelaide in the original film and original Broadway cast. The lighting crew did a magnificent job using different levels of lighting. Moon Area High School sure had talented students both on stage, behind the scenes, and in the orchestra. This show was an astounding and most magnificent performance as a whole.
