2001 flu clinics

The following list is for remaining flu clinics scheduled throughout the region. Your Health will update this list as new listings are received. Latest update: Dec. 3, 2001.

Richland Flu shots will be offered by St. Barnabas Medical Center beginning Dec. 3. Cost is $15 for those not covered by Medicare Part B. You can schedule an appointment at the 5830 Meridian Road center by calling 724-443-7231.

Rite Aid drugstores offer flu shots through Dec. 22. For locations check www.RITEAID.com, or call 1 (800) RITEAID. Free to people with Medicare Part B health coverage, $16 to $18 for all others. First-come, first-served.

The Allegheny County Health Department's flu clinic at 3441 Forbes Ave., Oakland, has hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays. No appointments are needed.
